For
over a decade, Princeton Hydros staff of
scientists and engineers have assisted our golf
course clients by addressing on their behalf the
environmental, ecological and regulatory issues
facing the golf course industry. For established
courses, we provide maintenance services for ponds,
streams and wetlands, and aid superintendents
with regulatory compliance issues. With Princeton
Hydro on your team, you will be assured that your
golf courses ponds and waterways truly compliment
the appearance of your course.
For proposed golf
courses, we provide ecological and engineering
services associated with environmental permitting
and regulatory reviews. This includes environmental
impact analysis, design of storm water quality
features, pollutant load and fate/transport modeling,
and technical assistance with groundwater, surface
water, and wetland resources permitting. We have
the technical expertise needed to successfully
conduct the investigations, monitoring, modeling
and analyses associated with all aspects pertaining
to surface water, groundwater and wetland concerns
facing the golf course architect, developer, superintendent
and owner. This is especially true with respect
to the careful planning, use and conservation
of valuable water resources, whether for new or
existing sources of water, the construction of
a new course or the expansion of an existing facility.
Our services include water use record reviews
and water loss assessments, computation of hydrologic
budgets, water allocation reports, preparation
of drought management and drought contingency
plans and the maintenance, design and construction
of irrigation ponds.
GPS and GIS technology
is used extensively in our golf course projects;
starting with design, continuing through the permitting
and construction phase and even as part of the
routine services offered as part of maintenance
operations and regulatory compliance. |
