In
the fields of lake restoration and watershed management,
Princeton Hydro has gained the reputation as an
industry leader. We have conducted diagnostic
studies and/or restoration projects for over 300
lakes, ponds and reservoirs nationwide. Our approach
to the identification and correction of lake and
pond problems is both practical and effective.
Our staff consists
of limnologists, fishery biologists, algologists,
hydrologists, wetland scientists and environmental
and civil engineers. With such a makeup, our staff
can approach projects using the combined perspective
of the aquatic scientist, wetland biologist and
engineer. This has enabled us to formulate pragmatic
and long-lasting solutions for even some of the
more difficult lake, pond and reservoir water
quality problems. As such, we are one of the few
firms that can truly identify themselves as “turnkey”
lake restoration and management companies; committed
to excellence and backed by experience.
Princeton Hydro’s
diagnostic studies and restoration projects have
involved the statistical analysis of historical
databases, preparation of hydrologic and pollutant
budgets, modeling of water quality impacts caused
by watershed development, analysis and preparation
of land use control ordinances, implementation
of public education programs, TMDL modeling and
the development of detailed lake and watershed
management plans.
