Princeton Hydro was formed in 1998. The specific mission of the company's founders, Dr. Stephen Souza, Mark Gallagher, Geoffrey Goll and Dr. Fred Lubnow, was to pool their extensive project experience and technical proficiency to create a company committed to providing unparalleled ecological and engineering consulting services. By offering four "overlapping spheres of expertise"; aquatic ecology, natural system ecology, geotechnical investigations and water resources engineering, Princeton Hydro can ensure that we have in-house the integrated skill sets and project teams needed to:
- Conduct highly comprehensive assessments of aquatic, riparian, wetland and terrestrial habitats,
- Develop and design appropriate, sustainable resource management and restoration solutions, and
- Successfully bring these solutions to fruition.
Over the years Princeton Hydro has grown and evolved, but we have stayed true to our mission. On a daily basis, regardless of the magnitude of the project, Princeton Hydro utilizes our combined technical capabilities to provide the highest quality of ecological, environmental and engineering consulting and implementation services to our private and public sector clients. Princeton Hydro's diverse team of science, engineering, and design professionals assures we have a thorough understanding of your project before our pencils hit the paper and a key stroke is made. We fully understand that to deliver what we promise requires a technically sound bridge between science and engineering. As such, our ecological investigations are backed by detailed engineering analyses, and our engineering solutions fully account for the ecological and environmental attributes and features of the project site.
Additionally, at Princeton Hydro we pride ourselves in not only staying ahead of the curve in the fields of ecological and environmental restoration, stormwater management and geotechnical applications, but in many cases setting the standard. To do so requires a highly skilled team of professionals that is committed to keeping in tune with current research, technology and regulations. We are especially proud of our unique skills in lake management, river restoration, coastal engineering, geotechnical investigations, hydrology, hydrogeology, population and community ecology, and environmental risk analysis. Our capabilities are reflected in our award winning projects that demonstrate our ability to both "think outside of the box", yet consistently produce real-world, cost-effective solutions for even the most complex environmental problems.
