Controlling Alien Invasions

Princeton Hydro understands the myriad of issues that contribute to the imbalance and degradation of our natural resources, both terrestrial and aquatic. Our seasoned scientists and experienced invasive species control team understand that for any restoration or stewardship project to succeed, invasive species concerns must be considered during the design, implementation, and adaptive management phases.

Understanding the factors, sometimes unseen and off-site, that lead to ecological imbalance allows us to address the root causes of an issue. By using a full suite of control methods, we are able to carefully tailor our approach for each site. Where necessary, our State-certified and licensed applicators can design and implement a pesticide control solution tailored to your project.

Additionally, we understand how vulnerable newly-planted sites are to herbivory and we implement non-lethal means to protect introduced native plant species as they become established.

Our Services Include:

  • Mechanical and Manual Removals
  • Aquatic Species Management
  • Algaecide, Herbicide and Pesticide Application
