Princeton Hydro’s wastewater experience spans planning, design, and construction with projects including both traditional and alternative on-site sewage disposal systems, as well as commercial and communal systems, including package wastewater treatment plants, constructed wetlands, disposal lagoons and sewer design. Several Princeton Hydro personnel are trained Sewage Enforcement Officers (SEOs). Our team of regulatory experts is skilled in navigating the NJDEP and PADEP permitting processes for wastewater management planning and design.
We prepare detailed municipal Wastewater Management Plans (WMPs) for rural municipalities including planning for and inclusion of alternative individual sewage disposal systems and clustered development on communal systems. We are also experienced in the design and permitting of alternative wastewater management systems including peat biofilters and constructed wetlands and lagoons. Our extensive expertise in constructed wetlands and experience in wastewater system design have evolved into complex and comprehensive designs that are on the cutting edge of technologies in New Jersey. In Pennsylvania, we have prepared detailed Act 537 Plans for community wastewater systems, and have experienced several community systems and completed detailed investigations of sewer mains and laterals to assess needs for upgrades and improvements.
