Geoscience Intern


Are you a forward-thinker who enjoys field work and is zealous about soil and rock mechanics? Consider an internship with Princeton Hydro’s Geoscience Engineering discipline working with our licensed P.E. Project Managers to design and perform comprehensive, cost-effective evaluations for a diversity of clients in the northeastern region. Interns can also gain knowledge of numerous soil properties utilized for design in our "in-house" AASHTO and USACE accredited soils testing facility. Additional opportunities exist assisting with geoscience related multidisciplinary projects (e.g., levees, dams, shoreline protection, etc.) of which Princeton Hydro is the prime design consultant. Candidate must be a team player enrolled in or recent graduate of an ABET accredited engineering program pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Structural, Construction Management or Environmental Engineering. Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, construction oversight, materials testing, soils testing, northeastern U.S. geology and geography, NEPA, and regulatory issues is preferred.
