Environmental Scientist

Robert George

Robert provides wetland mitigation and ecological risk assessment project support, has experience in ecological restoration, and has assisted restoration efforts in forested uplands, wetlands, and riparian areas.

He brings over five years of experience in a traditional laboratory setting to the firm, with primary research foci of environmental toxicology and neuroscience. His master’s thesis employed mtDNA barcode technology to examine the population genetics of three species of Ephemeroptera. Most recently, he completed a fellowship with the US Forest Service where he studied the disease ecology of two common North American arthropod vectors, Ixodes scapularis and Amblyomma americanum. For leisure, Robert prefers time in the outdoors: hunting, fishing, hiking, and kayaking.
