Survey and Stewardship

Princeton Hydro's biologists and ecologists conduct surveys for suitable habitat and population presence or absence for a variety of federal and state-listed Threatened and Endangered species. Additionally, we routinely couple our in-depth understanding of the life history requirements of particular species and guilds into our design of habitat restoration and mitigation sites.

Species, guilds, and habitats that we address include:

  • Bog Turtle (Glyptemys muhlenbergii)
  • Swamp Pink (Helonias bullata)
  • Northern Pine Snake (Pituophis m. melanoleucus)
  • Timber Rattlesnake (Crotalus horridus)
  • Barred Owl (Strix varia)
  • Colonial Wading Birds
  • Other Bird, Reptile, and Amphibian Species
  • Plant Communities
  • Vernal Habitats
