Katie Walston

Katie’s academic background is in ecology and environmental health. During her undergraduate career, she conducted research in El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico where she evaluated differences in forest dynamics and carbon stocks in the years following major hurricanes. 

Starting at Princeton Hydro as an intern, she was hired on as a Staff Scientist in the aquatics department to provide assistance to biological fieldwork, including water quality sampling, restorations, and fisheries work. She also aids in data collection and report preparations.

When not at work, Katie enjoys playing rugby, watching football, and reading.
