Andrew Simko

Andrew has experience in floodplain and stormwater management. He is proficient in hydrologic and hydraulics computer modeling and GIS. Before arriving to Princeton Hydro, Andrew worked as a water resources engineer developing FEMA flood insurance rate maps and helping to design stormwater management projects.

Andrew has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech. During his graduate education, he studied the pollutant removal efficiencies of stormwater facilities in Northern Virginia. He hopes that his academic and professional work will help restore and protect the Chesapeake Bay and other natural water systems.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys riding his bike, watching movies and discovering new restaurants Washington, D.C.
