Our group was assembled based on the qualifications of its individual members and their experience in specific aspects of mitigation planning and project development in the context of New Jersey. We believe that a group of small, diverse firms has a distinct advantage over large engineering firms due to our members’ highly-specialized knowledge, flexibility in creating personalized solutions, and our lack of high overhead costs, which is realized by our clients in reduced service costs. We work with our clients to maximize the positive effects of mitigation planning in protecting citizens and infrastructure from the effects of future natural disasters while making our clients highly competitive in pursuing mitigation grants to reduce existing risk. Our qualifications include high-level expertise in the following subject areas:

• All aspects of hazard mitigation planning
• Emergency Management and New Jersey Office of Emergency Management practices
• Integration into New Jersey Master Planning and the Municipal Land Use Law
• Risk assessment for all natural hazards experienced in New Jersey
• Mitigation project identification and scoping, including concept design

• HAZUS (FEMA’s Hazards U.S. risk analysis software) analysis
• Public engagement, with distinct expertise in the New Jersey municipal setting
• Benefit-cost analysis of hazard mitigation projects
• All phases of FEMA hazard mitigation project grant applications
